Just checked in on the Graun’s RSS feed to find that their lead story about Simon Hughes, for which the headline reads ‘Hughes considered quitting leadership race’ has been given the following tagline:

Politics: Lib Dem MP considered withdrawal after being forced by a newspaper to admit he had gay relationships.

All of which conjures up the kind of mental imagery which doesn’t bear close examination unless you’re in the business of writing Whitehall Farces - the plays I mean.

Now either this is entirely unintentional or there is sub-editor sat in corner pissing themselves laughing as I write.
