For a BNP councillor to talk about elected representatives and criminals is a bit rich. He quotes examples over decades, which bearing in mind the Labour/Lib Dem/Tory councillors add up to thousands over that period, it would be surprising if there were not a criminal element amongst them. But the BNP has an extraordinary record of choosing candidates with a criminal record... it is almost a requirement. I thought about complaining too, but actually I don't much agree with the 'apolitical' websites myself so I thought it would be a bit hypocritical. Much better to 'give him enough rope' and get him under the RRA, but even then it would probably end up with a report to the odious Standards Board... but eventually we may have to choose between the lesser of two evils.
