Right, Aristocrats coming real soon, but first, the first two parts (of seventeen) of a 1977 lecture given by the late, great, Hunter S Thompson.

This first lecture took place at the University of Colorado, in Boulder, a covers the period leading in to the publication of ‘The Great Shark Hunt‘, which just so happens to be the first of Hunter’s collections that I ever read.

What I’ll try and do is upload a couple of files a day, until I’ve released them all. Thereare two further full lectures to come, one from UCLA in 1984, covering the early Reagan years, and another from Lexington VA from 1991, although there may be a slight delay with the latter as the audio quality needs a bit of cleaning-up.
