Yes, its another ‘best of’ set of blogging polls, but one worthy of your attention, not least in recognition of the amount of time and effort that James Higham has put into setting up the whole thing, which has been rewarded thus far will a pretty good spread of quality nominees in all 20 categories.

I’m up for an award (again) in the Best Bug-eyed Verbose Obsessive category - otherwise known as the Best Fisker Award -  and (also again) find myself in bloody good company: Devil’s Kitchen, Mr Eugenides, Reactionary Snob, Obsolete and Five Chinese Crackers are all amongst my regular ports of call when I’m looking for a good read.

James has done a sterling job of getting this off the ground. There are loads of categories to vote in, a good spread of blogs from both the left and right, if politics is your thing, some fun categories - you should enjoy the poll for best unintentionally humorous post immensely - loads of inventive swearing (DK’s been nominated in six or seven categories and the ‘best politically incorrect blog’ category has a vertitable cornucopia of the best swearbloggers to choose from)  and good mix of familiar and not familiar bloggers to tickle your tastebuds.

The name of the game is ‘Vote Early, Vote Often’ - you can actually vote once a day in each category between now and next Wednesday - so there’s plenty of opportunity to pay the awards a visit and choose your favorites, so what are you hanging around here for?

Go on and give the awards your support and dish out a few votes - you know it makes sense.

Unity, good luck in your category.

Sorry to be off-topic, but I think your RSS feed might be broken. Has anyone else mentioned it?
